There are three categories of cyber crime.First is cyberpiracy.Cyberpiracy is using cyber-technology unauthorized ways to reproduce copies of proprietary software and proprietary information or distribute proprietary information (in digital form) across a computer.

Besides that, cybertrespass is using cyber-technology to gain or to exceed unauthorized access to an individual's or an organization's computer systems or a password protected web site.

Last but not least, is cybervandalism.Cybervandalism is using cyber-technology to unleash one or more programs that disrupt the transmission of electronic information across one or more computer networks,including the internet.Besides that,it will destroy data resident in a computer or damage a computer system's resources or both.
